*A note from Ms. Carter*

Dear Parent/Guardian:

St. Jude’s Academy is please to be holding a Heart and Stroke Foundation Jump Rope for Heart event on Tuesday, February 20th, 2018. All money raised will support the Heart and Stroke Foundation in their mission to promote children’s health and fund vital heart and stroke research.

 *A note from Ms. Hayward*

I've had a few questions about the materials for our musical instruments project starting Thursday, January 18.
Anything will work, really.  For example, I have set aside a few chickpea tins from dinner to bring in.  We will be putting things inside to make the noise and adding a top to cover.  Otherwise, any recyclable with a lid such as yogurt containers, plastic bottles, etc. will work.  We will be gluing decorations on.
Thank you.

Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather & a story (students also reviewed patterns and had to finish the ones I started)

Music - Ms. Hayward

Language - students reviewed the name, sound & formation of the letter Oo. Then they completed a worksheet.

Math - students had to walk around the room and count 10 frames from 11-20.

Gym - Ms. Yustin

French - Mlle. Jessica

UOI - students used a pattern from pieces of construction paper to highlight their first and last name.

Have a great evening,
Ms. Bannon
